Look what I found hiding under the leaves!

I went out into the garden to tidy up some of the plants after all the snow had flattened them. Started moving the leaves on one bed and found all these little Snow drops peeping through at me! Lots of other bulbs beginning to shoot up too, one brave little daffodil is even in bud!

I know we're due for another cold spell and possibly more snow, but the Spring is getting nearer and it lifts my heart with joy!

I'd love to see some kind of hint of spring! Here in Maryland (outside of Washington, DC) we are having a blizzard and currently have about 20 inches of snow with no end in sight!

'SNAP'
These little jewels brought me my first post in a few weeks. Too good to be ignored! Like you I thought I'd capture their quiet show before the next wave of ce/snow arrives.

I've noticed mine as well and an aconite lurking all by itself...roll on spring!

A sure sign of Spring on the way Elaine, lovely pic have always adored the Snowdrops, they are such a beautiful gentle flower. We had a lot of snow here this winter in Norfolk, most we have ever had since we first came to live here almost twenty six years ago.

Looking forward to the Spring too, one of my favourite times of the year.
